Efisia Fele was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and moved to Italy with her family when she was very young. Her family then moved to Melbourne, Australia in 1989 and has lived there since. Efisia has directed and acted in many plays and theatre productions in Melbourne since 1997 and is a qualified Stage Manager. She credits her high school drama teacher and her playwright/screenwriter mentor, Ray Mooney as her biggest influences in beginning her career in theatre and consequently film.

Efisia's theatre credits span from the technical (directing, stage management, light design, set design etc) to acting. A few titles she's worked on include an adaptation of 'A Clockwork Orange', Ray Mooney's 'Mouth of the Dog', Shakespeare's 'The Tempest' and many more. Though Efisia loves all theatre styles, she has a particular interest in ancient Greek tragedy, Butoh, Bio-mechanics, Commedia del' Arte, Theatre of Cruelty/Absurd, audience interaction, improvisation, ritual, mask and physical theatre. Efisia has performed and directed plays in some of Melbourne's most hallowed theatre spaces including The Merlyn Theatre at the Malthouse and La Mama's Carlton Courthouse.

Although she has had a passion for film since she was a little girl, Efisia only entered into the vast realm of filmmaking in 2004 with her friend and writing partner, Phoebe Meyer. During a night of sharing urban legends and researching their origins and truths, they were both struck by an idea for an Australian horror/thriller film. Neither Phoebe or Efisia had ever written a screenplay before, however the girls utilised their culminative knowledge (Efisia's experience with plays and Phoebe's interest in researching and criminology) to create the story and later the script for what is now known as Lost Not Found.

Lost Not Found (henceforth referred to as 'LNF') soon gained the attention of veteran horror movie sites such as Fangoria.com, quickly being featured on the site as an "upcoming indie film". Efisia and Phoebe gradually found themselves intergrating with the Melbourne independent filmmaking community, gaining contacts and the support and interest of peers. In March 2006 a teaser for LNF was shot in the heat of the Australian Outback, and released on the internet later that year. By this stage, both Efisia and Phoebe had volunteered themselves on the sets of other independent filmmakers' projects to gain experience and learn what they could about the craft of filmmaking. Efisia and Phoebe are now seeking investors to help bring LNF to the screen.

In late 2006, Efisia was offered the role of 'Danielle' in the American indie creature-feature behemoth franchise, Death Walks The Streets and has since worked on other Melbourne indie projects as art director, actor, costume designer and more.

Efisia also has a strong love for creating music, namely singing and playing electric guitar. Having been in many bands since her early teens, Efisia has never been one to shy away from a stage or performance.
